Islamabad, The FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Taftan carried out a major operation, arresting 33 foreign nationals involved in attempting to cross the Pakistan border illegally.
According to the FIA spokesperson, all arrested individuals are Bangladeshi nationals who had entered Pakistan on visit visas during June and July 2025. The suspects attempted to cross the border illegally through the Mashkhel border area in District Chaghi.
The successful operation was conducted in close coordination with Frontier Corps (FC). During the initial investigation, the detainees failed to produce valid legal documents or provide satisfactory justification for their presence in the border area.
The suspects were taken into custody near Mashkhel and have been shifted for further interrogation. Legal proceedings have been initiated, and the investigation is currently underway to uncover potential human trafficking networks or facilitators.
The FIA reiterates its commitment to curbing illegal immigration and human trafficking and appreciates the cooperation extended by FC authorities in ensuring border security and enforcement of immigration laws.
