Rawalpindi, Pakistan hosted the Regional Chiefs of Defence Staff Conference today in Islamabad, bringing together senior military leadership from the United States of America, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. This landmark multilateral engagement marks a significant step forward in strengthening regional security cooperation, advancing military diplomacy, and fostering strategic dialogue among partner nations.
Held under the theme “Strengthening Bonds, Securing Peace,” the high-level conference aimed to enhance collaborative security efforts, promote joint training programs, and facilitate the exchange of best practices in counterterrorism and broader defence strategies.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI(M), formally welcomed the visiting defence chiefs and reaffirmed Pakistan’s enduring commitment to peace, stability, and meaningful regional engagement.
