Islamabad, According to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) spokesperson, during the current year, FIA Immigration successfully registered 16 million passengers at international arrival and departure check posts. During this year, 5.7 million Pakistanis and 1.7 million foreigners came to Pakistan. While 6.7 million Pakistani citizens and 1.8 million foreigners left Pakistan.

FIA Immigration has offloaded 117 passengers on the basis of fake documents during this year. During this year, 2878 accused included in the stop list were arrested from different airports. 2449 accused tried to go abroad on lost, stolen and blacklisted passports. 118 accused were arrested on the basis of red notices and the other accused were wanted by the police and law enforcement agencies.
