Islamabad, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that any Indian adventure against the sovereignty and integrity of Pakistan will be responded to with a befitting reply, severe, painful and beyond imagination without any hesitation.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, addressing the graduating officers of the Armed Forces of the “National Security and War Course” at the National Defense University in Islamabad, stressed the importance of mental preparedness, practical understanding, and institutional professionalism to effectively deal with complex challenges in difficult situations.
He said that India failed to achieve its military objectives set during Operation Sindoor. India’s illogical justifications for the failure of Operation Sindoor actually prove the weakness of India’s operational preparedness and strategic foresight, he added. He said that allegations of external cooperation by India in Pakistan’s success in Operation Bunyanum Marsoos were irresponsible and contrary to facts. Such statements, he said, reflect India’s traditional reluctance to recognize Pakistan’s success in Operation Bunyanum Marsoos.
Syed Asim Munir said the purpose of such baseless statements by India is a failed attempt to establish a self-styled role of a fictitious “net security provider” in the region, that too at a time when the countries of the region are fed up with India’s aggressive and Hindutva ideology. He said Pakistan has proven itself in the international community as a net regional stabilizer in the region.
