Pakistan, Russia Conclude Joint Counter-Terrorism Exercise Druzhba-VIII

Rawalpindi, The Pakistan-Russia Joint Military Exercise Druzhba-VIII was conducted from 15–27 September 2025, focusing on counter-terrorism operations.

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR),the closing ceremony was attended by the Vice Chief of General Staff of Pakistan as Chief Guest, alongside senior military officials from the Russian Federation.

During the exercise, troops from both countries demonstrated exceptional professional standards while engaging in joint training. The exercise focused on enhancing counter-terrorism capabilities, with particular emphasis on drone warfare, urban combat, and countering improvised explosive devices (IEDs).

The joint drills not only refined operational procedures and techniques but also strengthened historic military-to-military ties between the two friendly nations.
