Pakistan to Host Key Regional Talks as Saudi, Turkish, Egyptian FMs Visit Islamabad

Islamabad, Pakistan is set to host an important round of regional diplomacy as the Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Egypt arrive in Islamabad for a two-day official visit starting March 29.

The visit is being undertaken at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar. The visiting dignitaries include Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the high-level engagement will feature in-depth discussions on a wide range of regional and international issues, with a particular focus on efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region. The visiting Foreign Ministers are also scheduled to call on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during their stay.

Pakistan maintains close and longstanding relations with Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Egypt, often describing them as brotherly nations. Officials say the visit will serve as a significant opportunity to enhance diplomatic coordination, deepen strategic cooperation, and explore new avenues of partnership across multiple sectors of mutual interest.

The visit comes at a time of heightened regional uncertainty, underscoring Islamabad’s role in facilitating dialogue and promoting collective efforts toward peace and stability.
