Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and British HC Vow to Strengthen Ties in Counter-Terrorism, Border Security and Anti-Narcotics

‎Islamabad –Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with British High Commissioner Jane Marriott in Islamabad. Both sides discussed Pakistan-UK relations and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields. During the meeting, they also held discussions on expanding collaboration in counter-terrorism, counter-narcotics, border security, and human trafficking.

‎High Commissioner Jane Marriott congratulated Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on being conferred with the Nishan-e-Imtiaz and extended her best wishes. She also expressed sorrow and grief over the loss of precious human lives in Pakistan due to floods and rains and exprey condolences to the bereaved families.

‎Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi stated that Pakistan has always been a proponent of peace and strongly condemns terrorism in all its manifestations. He emphasized that the United Kingdom is an important partner in Pakistan’s journey to progress. He emphasized that Pakistan seeks to enhance bilateral cooperation with the UK in all areas of mutual interest.
