Tehran: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with his Iranian counterpart Eskandar Momeni in Tehran, where both sides held detailed discussions on the latest regional developments.
The Iranian Interior Minister appreciated Pakistan’s historic efforts in achieving a ceasefire and its role in reconciliation. He stated that the ceasefire was established through the mediation of brotherly country Pakistan and added that Iran will always remember Pakistan’s sincere and positive role.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that Pakistan desires sustainable peace and stability in the region. He emphasized that sincere efforts are being made to find a lasting solution to the Middle East conflict. “War is not the solution to any problem; dialogue is the only way to resolve disputes,” he added.
