Islamabad, Prime Minister will undertake an official visit to from May 23 to 26 at the invitation of the Chinese government, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The visit comes as Pakistan and China mark the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations and is expected to reinforce the longstanding All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership between the two countries.
During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will meet Chinese President and Premier to discuss bilateral cooperation in political, economic, and strategic sectors.
Talks will focus on the high-quality development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), trade and investment, industrial cooperation, agricultural modernization, information technology, science and technology, and people-to-people exchanges.
The Prime Minister will begin his visit in , where he will chair the Pakistan-China B2B Investment Conference on IT & Telecom, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and agriculture.
In , the Prime Minister will attend a reception hosted by the to commemorate 75 years of diplomatic ties between Pakistan and China.
The Foreign Office said the visit is expected to deepen political trust, enhance strategic coordination, expand practical cooperation, and further strengthen the friendship between the two countries.
