Egypt’s Armed Forces have announced the second edition of the El Alamein International Airshow (EIAS 2026), scheduled to take place from 8–10 September 2026 at El Alamein International Airport, with a dedicated aerospace conference on 7 September.

According to the military, the event is expected to bring together more than 250 exhibitors from 50 countries, attract around 12,000 visitors, feature over 100 military and civilian aircraft, and showcase more than 50 live aerial demonstrations.

The launch ceremony will be attended by Egyptian Air Force Commander Lt. Gen. Amr Saqr, Civil Aviation Minister Sameh El Hefny, Egyptian Space Agency CEO Maged Ismail, senior Armed Forces officials, military and commercial attachés, and representatives of leading international aerospace companies.

Organized with the support of the Egyptian Ministry of Defence, the Egyptian Air Force, the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the Egyptian Space Agency, and EgyptAir, EIAS 2026 aims to strengthen cooperation across the defence, aerospace, and space sectors.

The three-day event will feature live flying displays, static aircraft exhibitions, a specialized aerospace exhibition, and industry conferences, providing a platform for government officials, military delegations, aviation experts, and industry leaders to exchange expertise, showcase advanced technologies, and explore new business opportunities.

Building on the success of its inaugural 2024 edition, the El Alamein International Airshow is positioned as a leading aviation and aerospace event for Africa and the Middle East, serving as a strategic gateway for the latest developments in defence, commercial aviation, and space technologies.
