Islamabad- Pakistan Navy ships HUNAIN and YARMOOK seized more than 2,800 kilograms of narcotics, valued at approximately $750 million, during a joint counter-narcotics operation in the Arabian Sea, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday.

The ships, while conducting a routine patrol, intercepted a suspicious boat and recovered the narcotics from concealed compartments during a boarding operation.

Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, NI, NI (M), T Bt, commended the officers and crew for their professionalism and vigilance. He reaffirmed the Pakistan Navy’s commitment to maritime security and efforts to prevent illicit trafficking at sea.
