Islamabad, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Ataullah Tarar, addressed a press conference today highlighting Pakistan’s growing diplomatic influence and domestic resilience.

Minister Tarar emphasized Pakistan’s key role in the Middle East, stating that the country’s diplomatic efforts have been recognized globally. “Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir have strengthened Pakistan’s position on the diplomatic front,” he said.

He noted that neighboring India is reportedly uneasy over Pakistan’s international initiatives. Tarar underscored that no political leader or party is above the nation, stressing that national interest must always take precedence. “Criticism is a right, but the country’s prestige should never be compromised,” he remarked.

On the economic front, Tarar criticized opposition elements, particularly the leadership of PTI, for their role in pushing Pakistan toward default. He said the PTI had hoped for Pakistan’s economic collapse and had lobbied internationally to undermine Pakistan’s GSP Plus status. “Despite all this, Pakistan has strengthened its economy, increased exports, and avoided default under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership,” Tarar said.

The minister also accused certain individuals, including Arif Ajaikia in the UK and Zulfi Bukhari, of conspiring against Pakistan alongside opposition factions. “Their propaganda and conspiracies cannot harm Pakistan; the nation will continue to rise despite their attempts,” he asserted.

Minister Tarar concluded by emphasizing national unity and resilience, stating, “Pakistan will progress and remain strong. Attempts to destabilize or tarnish the country will fail. Pakistan Zindabad.”
