Islamabad: As anticipation builds around the upcoming round of peace talks in Pakistan’s capital, officials and analysts are urging caution against premature conclusions, emphasizing that while progress has been significant, a final agreement has yet to be reached.

Recent statements and speculation intensified after former U.S. President Donald Trump signaled his willingness to travel to Islamabad for the signing of a potential peace deal. This announcement triggered a wave of optimism across media platforms, with some reports suggesting that negotiations had effectively concluded.

However, diplomatic sources stress that such narratives may oversimplify the complexities involved. The decades-long conflict between the concerned parties carries deep-rooted tensions, and key issues remain under negotiation. Experts caution that “a deal is only done when it is done,” underscoring the fragile nature of ongoing discussions.
