Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with his Saudi counterpart Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud in Mina. Both interior ministers exchanged Eid-ul-Adha greetings and conveyed best wishes to each other. The Saudi Interior Minister congratulated Mohsin Naqvi on performing Hajj.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on Pakistan-Saudi bilateral relations and internal security cooperation. It was decided that 200 personnel of the Federal Constabulary ‘Special Diplomatic Protection Unit’ would undergo training in Saudi Arabia. It was also agreed that a high-level delegation from the Saudi Ministry of Interior would soon visit Pakistan to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi appreciated the excellent arrangements made by the Saudi government during Hajj. The two ministers also discussed the latest regional situation. The Saudi Interior Minister praised Pakistan’s positive role in reducing regional tensions.
