Islamabad, Acting British High Commissioner Zoe Ware called on the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Mr. Mohsin Dawar, at his office today. During the meeting, the areas of mutual interest of the two countries were discussed. Her Excellency Zoe Ware commended Mr. Mohsin Dawar’s efforts to effectively use the platform of the Standing Committee and offered her support in facilitating the Committee in its engagement with foreign affairs committees of Commonwealth countries as well as of the United Kingdom. The two officials exchanged views on the political, security, and economic situation of Pakistan. Ms. Zoe apprised Mr. Dawar of the UK’s efforts to support Pakistan’s development in various areas.
