Chinese Ambassador Highlights “15th Five-Year Plan” at Islamabad Briefing, Emphasizes New Opportunities for China-Pakistan Cooperation

Islamabad — Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong attended a briefing on the spirit of China’s National People’s Congress and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, commonly known as the “Two Sessions,” held at the Chinese embassy. The event also saw the participation of Pakistan’s Minister of State for Climate Change Sherry Rehman, as well as representatives from think tanks and media outlets.

During the briefing, Ambassador Jiang introduced the key targets, strategic tasks, and major projects outlined in China’s 15th Five-Year Plan. He emphasized that China is committed to sharing development opportunities with countries worldwide, including Pakistan, promoting mutual growth, and advancing the implementation of China’s four global initiatives.

Jiang also underscored China’s advocacy for a fair and orderly multipolar world and an inclusive, people-centered form of economic globalization.

Pakistani participants praised the 15th Five-Year Plan, noting that China’s development model and approach set a benchmark for other nations. They highlighted that China’s modernization continues to generate new opportunities globally.

Pakistani officials expressed hope that the 75th anniversary of China-Pakistan diplomatic ties would serve as a catalyst to deepen all-weather strategic cooperation and accelerate the construction of a China-Pakistan community with a shared future.
