Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian to Undertake State Visit to Pakistan Tomorrow

Islamabad, At the invitation of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the President of the Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, will undertake a State Visit to Pakistan on June 23, 2026.

President Pezeshkian will be accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising ministers and senior government officials. During the visit, he is scheduled to meet the President of Pakistan and hold delegation-level talks with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The Chairman Senate, Speaker of the National Assembly, and Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister will also call on the Iranian President.

This will be President Pezeshkian’s second visit to Pakistan since assuming office as President of Iran and reflects the growing momentum in bilateral engagement between the two neighboring countries.

The two sides are expected to review the entire spectrum of Pakistan-Iran relations and explore new avenues for expanding cooperation in key areas, including trade, energy, border security, regional connectivity, and people-to-people exchanges.

The visit will also provide an important opportunity for discussions on ongoing diplomatic initiatives following the signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, as well as regional and international developments of mutual interest.

The upcoming visit underscores the shared commitment of Pakistan and Iran to further strengthen their longstanding historical, cultural, and brotherly ties while advancing their common vision for peace, stability, and sustainable development across the region.
