Islamabad, According to details, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi chaired important meetings at Safe City Islamabad and the Central Police Office Islamabad.
The meetings were attended by DIG Law and Order Shakir Hussain Dawar, SSP Safe City Shoaib Khan, Safe City IT staff and all divisional police officers.
IGP Islamabad reviewed the implementation report on the targets assigned to officers, including the performance of the branches of Safe City Islamabad. He also assessed the provision of new software and advanced technology in Safe City, their overall performance and ongoing development work.
He issued orders to senior police officers to further improve the performance of Safe City and to meet new targets.
IGP Islamabad also chaired an important meeting regarding crime control at the CPO, where he reviewed the performance of police officers in crime prevention. He instructed all divisional police officers to arrest the wanted suspects in cases of theft, robbery, murder, street crime and other offenses.
He emphasized that all police officers should focus on heinous crimes, street crimes and crime hotspots to prevent criminal activity. Officers should be proactive in their areas by developing clear action plans for crime control.
The protection of citizens’ lives and property remains a top priority for Islamabad Police.
