Islamabad — Pakistan has strongly condemned and categorically rejected recent statements by the Israeli occupying power hinting at the creation of the so-called “Greater Israel” and plans for the forcible displacement of Palestinians from Gaza.
In a firm statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs described these remarks as a blatant violation of international law, the principles of the UN Charter, and relevant UN resolutions. Pakistan urged the global community to unequivocally reject such provocative and destabilizing notions.
“These statements reveal the occupying power’s intent to consolidate its illegal occupation while showing utter disregard for international efforts to establish lasting peace and stability in the region,” the statement read. It called for immediate and concrete international action to halt Israel’s ongoing crimes and atrocities against the Palestinian people.
Pakistan reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Palestinians’ legitimate rights, including the right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent, viable, and contiguous State of Palestine, based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
