Pakistan Navy Successfully Conducts Live Firing of Indigenous Anti-Ship Missile

Rawalpindi, The Pakistan Navy has successfully carried out a live weapon firing of an indigenously developed ship-launched anti-ship missile, demonstrating precision strike capability at extended range.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the missile accurately engaged its designated target with high speed, marking another milestone in Pakistan’s naval modernization and indigenous defence production.

The Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, NI (M), T Bt, along with senior scientists and engineers, witnessed the successful launch. The missile features an advanced guidance system and enhanced maneuverability, enabling it to evade threats, adapt to changing operational environments, and deliver precise and lethal impact.

The ISPR stated that the successful test reflects the Pakistan Navy’s commitment to maintaining credible sea-based deterrence in the conventional domain, while ensuring maritime security and regional stability.

The President, Prime Minister, Chief of Defence Forces, and Services Chiefs have commended the participating personnel and scientists for achieving this significant milestone.
