Islamabad – Federal Minister for Human Rights, Senator Azam Nazir Tarar, held a significant bilateral meeting with Rwanda’s High Commissioner, Fatou Harerimana, to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the fields of human rights, women’s empowerment, and child welfare.
During the discussions, both sides emphasized the need to strengthen collaboration on gender equality and the promotion of human rights. They also explored avenues for institutional linkages, exchange of experiences, and implementation of joint programs.
The meeting highlighted detailed discussions on enhancing women’s political participation and promoting gender mainstreaming initiatives. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation in human rights and agreed to further strengthen relations through collaborative programs and shared expertise.
