Islamabad, Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Ch. Anwarul Haq has said that he was grateful to the President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, and Pakistan Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir for the important role they have played in the current situation of Azad Kashmir.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan today called an important meeting in which all stakeholders including the Kashmiri leadership participated and announced an immediate relief package of 23 billion rupees to give relief to the people of Azad Kashmir and notifications of relief in flour and electricity were also issued.
I salute sub-inspector Adnan Qureshi, who was martyred while performing his duties. His family will be given a relief of one crore rupees.

The Prime Minister said that there was a protest going on in Azad Kashmir for the last three days regarding electricity and flour subsidies. These demands were taken to the federal authorities, and negotiations were held under the leadership of former caretaker defense minister Anwar Ali Haider, the President of Pakistan called an important meeting on this issue and he was grateful to the President of Pakistan for his initiative.
