Islamabad- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has departed on an important four-day diplomatic tour to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Türkiye from April 15 to 18, aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and advancing Pakistan’s role in regional and global diplomacy.
During his visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the Prime Minister is expected to hold high-level meetings with the leadership of both countries. Discussions will focus on enhancing economic cooperation, deepening strategic partnerships, and addressing key regional peace and security challenges.
In Türkiye, the Prime Minister will participate in the Fifth Antalya Diplomacy Forum, where he will join world leaders at the Leaders’ Panel to share Pakistan’s perspective on major global issues. On the sidelines of the forum, he is also scheduled to meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and engage with other international leaders.
Pakistan’s participation in the forum underscores its commitment to constructive diplomacy, multilateral engagement, and active involvement in addressing global challenges.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Syed Tariq Fatemi, along with other senior officials.
