RAWALPINDI, Security forces have killed 12 terrorists allegedly belonging to the Indian proxy group Fitna al Hindustan during an intelligence-based operation in Kalat District of Balochistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Friday.

According to the ISPR, the operation was conducted on September 2, 2026, following reports about the presence of terrorists in the area.

During the operation, security forces successfully identified and monitored a terrorists’ hideout. The hideout was subsequently busted through a prompt and surgical action by the security forces, resulting in the killing of all 12 Indian-sponsored terrorists present there.

A cache of ammunition and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) was also found at the hideout and destroyed on-site, the military’s media wing said.

Following the successful operation, sanitization operations are currently underway in the area to identify and eliminate any other Indian-sponsored terrorists who may still be present.

The ISPR said the operation was part of the ongoing counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” which was approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan.

The military reiterated that Pakistan’s Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies would continue the counter-terrorism campaign at full pace to eliminate the menace of foreign-sponsored and foreign-supported terrorism from the country.

The latest operation in Kalat highlights the continued intelligence-based efforts by Pakistan’s security forces to dismantle terrorist hideouts and networks and prevent foreign-sponsored militant activity in Balochistan.
