Islamabad, The European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, will undertake an official visit to Pakistan on June 1, 2026, at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
During the visit, Kaja Kallas and Senator Ishaq Dar will co-chair the 8th Session of the Pakistan-EU Strategic Dialogue, the highest-level platform for structured engagement between Pakistan and the European Union.
The EU High Representative is also scheduled to meet Pakistan’s senior leadership, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari.
According to the Foreign Office, Pakistan highly values its long-standing and multidimensional partnership with the European Union, which is based on shared values, strong economic cooperation, and a mutual commitment to multilateralism.
The visit reflects the continued momentum of high-level political exchanges between Pakistan and the EU and demonstrates both sides’ commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across various sectors.
The Strategic Dialogue is expected to provide an opportunity for discussions on bilateral relations, regional developments, and areas of mutual interest.
