Islamabad, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan strongly reaffirms the country’s unambiguous condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. Pakistan’s counter-terrorism policy is anchored in zero tolerance and a steadfast commitment to international cooperation.

Responding to recent developments, the Foreign Office Spokesperson stated:

“Pakistan has consistently been at the forefront of the global fight against terrorism. Our sacrifices are unparalleled, and our commitment remains unwavering. The recent apprehension of terrorist Sharifullah — the mastermind of the Abbey Gate bombing — demonstrates Pakistan’s active and effective role in ensuring international peace and security.”

Commenting on the Pahalgam incident in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the Spokesperson noted that:

“The investigation remains ongoing and inconclusive. Any attempts to link this incident to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), a defunct organization banned in Pakistan, are speculative and contrary to ground realities.”

The Spokesperson further emphasized:

“Pakistan has comprehensively dismantled all such terrorist outfits, arrested their leadership, prosecuted them under law, and carried out sustained deradicalization efforts. Misleading assertions serve no purpose other than to deflect attention from India’s own state-sponsored repression in IIOJK.”

On the misuse of international designations, the Foreign Office remarked:

“While the matter in question falls within the ambit of U.S. domestic law, India has a regrettable history of manipulating such actions to malign Pakistan. These efforts are aimed at distracting the international community from India’s irresponsible conduct, including its human rights abuses in the occupied territory.”

The Foreign Office urged the global community to adopt a balanced and objective approach to counter-terrorism, stating:

“We call for a non-discriminatory and evidence-based international framework to address the menace of terrorism. This includes the urgent need to designate entities like the Majeed Brigade, an alias of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), which poses a serious threat to regional peace and security.”
