RIYADH, The Chiefs of Defence Forces and Chiefs of General Staff of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Türkiye held a meeting in Riyadh under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement, reviewing the security situation and threats facing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

According to ISPR, the participants strongly condemned attacks targeting the Holy City of Makkah and civilian and economic infrastructure, while appreciating the vigilance and professionalism of the Saudi Armed Forces in safeguarding the people and security of the Kingdom.

The military leadership discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation among the three countries’ armed forces, including enhanced intelligence sharing, military coordination and capability integration to reinforce deterrence and collective defence.

The participants also reaffirmed the longstanding relations and mutual trust between the three countries and their armed forces, noting that the Riyadh meeting reflected the strength of their defence partnership.

They expressed a shared determination to translate the commitments of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement into effective military cooperation and reaffirmed their commitment to collective defence and to supporting the security, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Saudi Arabia.
